2. Scope of application

This privacy policy applies exclusively to the FKJ Accountancy & Consulting showcase site and its online contact form.
It does not cover data processed as part of our accounting, fiscal or advisory missions, which are subject to specific confidentiality agreements concluded directly with our clients and are subject to professional secrecy applicable to professional accountants in Belgium.
No accounting, fiscal or financial data is collected, transmitted or processed via this website.

When you complete our contact form, we only collect the following data:

The provision of mandatory fields is required to process your request. The optional fields only allow us to better qualify your needs.

3.2 Technical data collected automatically

When you browse our site, certain technical data may be automatically recorded by our host and, where applicable, by our audience measurement tool:

Pages viewed and length of visit
Date and time of connection

This data is collected for purely statistical and technical purposes. They are never cross-referenced with your contact details.

4. Purposes of processing and legal bases

In accordance with article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (RGPD), each treatment is based on an explicit legal basis:

4.1 Handling requests received via the contact form

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (art. 6, §1, f of the GDPR).
We process your contact data in order to respond to your request for information or to make an appointment. This is our legitimate interest in maintaining a quality relationship with our prospects and potential customers. This interest does not take precedence over your fundamental rights.

4.2 Site audience measurement (if applicable)

Legal basis: Consent (art. 6, §1, a of the RGPD), collected via our cookie management banner.
These measures allow us to analyze the number of visits to our site and to improve its content and ergonomics. You can refuse or withdraw this consent at any time without consequences.

4.3 Lack of processing for third party commercial purposes

Your data is never used for targeted advertising purposes or given to third parties for commercial purposes. FKJ Accountancy & Consulting does not sell any personal data.

5. Data retention period

Your data is kept for the period strictly necessary for the purpose for which they were collected:

Contact requests without commercial follow-up: 1 year from your request
Requests that resulted in a commercial relationship: duration of the contractual relationship, then 7 years after its termination (Belgian civil limitation period — art. 2262bis of the Civil Code)
Browsing data and analysis cookies: 13 months maximum, in accordance with APD recommendations

At the end of these deadlines, your data is securely deleted or anonymized irreversibly.

6. Data recipients

6.1 Internal access

Only members of FKJ Accountancy & Consulting who are directly involved in processing your request have access to your data. They are subject to a strict confidentiality obligation.

6.2 Technical subcontractors

We use technical service providers acting as subcontractors within the meaning of article 28 of the RGPD, in particular for:
Website hosting (host established in the European Union or offering equivalent RGPD guarantees)
Professional email
The audience measurement tool, if applicable
Each subcontractor is bound by a contract imposing equivalent obligations in terms of data protection.

6.3 No commercial transfers to third parties

FKJ Accountancy & Consulting does not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

6.4 Transfers outside the European Economic Area

We aim for all of your data to be processed within the EEA. In the exceptional case where a service provider is established outside the EEA, we ensure that the transfer is subject to appropriate guarantees in accordance with Chapter V of the RGPD (standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or adequacy decision).

7. Your data protection rights

In accordance with articles 15 to 22 of the RGPD and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

Right of access (art. 15 RGPD)

You can obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and, if necessary, obtain a copy of it as well as information relating to this processing.

Right to correction (art. 16 GDPR)

You can request the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data concerning you.

Right to erasure (art. 17 GDPR)

You can request the deletion of your data when they are no longer necessary, in case of withdrawal of consent, or in the other cases provided for by the regulations. This right is exercised subject to the legal conservation obligations incumbent on us.

Right to restriction of processing (art. 18 GDPR)

You can request the limitation of the processing of your data in certain circumstances (contestation of accuracy, opposition under examination, etc.).

Right to portability (art. 20 RGPD)

For data provided on the basis of your consent or a contract, you can retrieve them in a structured and machine-readable format, and transmit them to another data controller.

Right to object (art. 21 GDPR)

You can object to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interest at any time. In case of opposition, we will stop processing unless there is a compelling legitimate reason.

Right to withdraw consent

When the treatment is based on your consent (analysis cookies), you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie manager, without affecting the legality of the treatments carried out before this withdrawal.

In accordance with article 32 of the RGPD, FKJ Accountancy & Consulting implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security adapted to the risk. These measures include:

Access to data limited to authorized persons
